I Always Miss the Biggest News
Djw and I were conferencing in lovely Boulder this weekend, a trip that may have involved a summit meeting with a Colorado academic who may or may not be bringing down American higher education from the inside. As enjoyable as the trip was, you just know the big news is going to hit, and I apologize for readers for not being here to cover the stunning decision of Lincoln Chafee to end his presidential bid.
I’m particularly looking forward to seeing how pundits will try to argue that there might be a brokered Democratic convention this year.
[PC]: This piece on the whimsical pointlessness of Chafee’s campaign is amusing in a melancholy way.
Also, the rumored blog summit may have taken place at what LGM locals may consider Boulder’s best brewpub.
