Elon’s well-compensated head of PR immolates what remains of his dignity

As you may have seen, professional Putin/Trump/Tucker apologist and Elon Musk errand boy Matt Taibbi made an appearance at the committee chaired by his admired political ally Gym Jordan:
My favorite thing about the deranged Nancy Pelosi conspiracy theorist Shellenberger is that he puts “MD” in his twitter handle to make you think he’s a doctor when he pushes anti-vaxx bullshit but it’s actually his initials.
Anyway, it would be hard to ID the most instructively humiliating moment in Taibbi’s appearance, but my personal favorite is his smarmy refusal to say what the source for the cherry-picked emails he was required to publish on Twitter was, even though his fellow flak Bari had already revealed it:
It’s one thing to pretend like these hyperventilating PR tweet storms are “investigative journalism.”

Even more embarrassing than Taibbi and Rogan pretending to believe that there is no reason to think that Elon “DeSantis ’24” Musk is right-wing is Taibbi pretending to think that Musk is funny. To be Scrupulously Fair, given what’s happened to his prose since he went full MAGA he might even believe it. Anything for that SubStack loot!
