The royal scam

British police on Thursday arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, [the pedophile] formerly known as Prince Andrew, over suspicions of misconduct in public office after accusations that he shared confidential information with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a British trade envoy.
The arrest was a stunning blow to the British monarchy, which has been rocked by scandals for decades and is now having to endure the spectacle of having one of its members arrested. The move escalated the long-running crisis for Buckingham Palace over the former prince’s ties to Mr. Epstein and allegations of sexual abuse of a young woman.
Child rape is one thing, but manipulating the London Interbank Offered Rate is going a bit too far, apparently.
A quick scan of the police blotter suggests that the last British royal to actually be arrested was Charles I. Whatever happened to that guy anyway?
Mister we could use a man like Oliver Cromwell again.
Not really, but I do think that a basically inevitable consequence of the Epstein scandal is that soon, very soon, we’re going to start getting all sorts of “has this gone too far?” stories, since if there’s one belief that undergirds the plutocracy, besides Money = God, it’s that there are certain people who should be immune from the ordinary consequences of existence, up to and including death. (That’s what all their vampiric space colonization fantasies are ultimately about).
. . . This guy did pretty much exactly what Donald Trump did, and just got sentenced to life in prison for it.
