This was Epstein week. It’s not going away, largely through the Trump administration’s incompetence, but also thanks to the salacious enjoyment of the news media in finding pictures of Trump and Epstein and their communications. Congressional Democrats are getting in on the fun. There should be some lit constituent meetings with members of Congress during the summer recess. Many questions remain about Epstein, particularly how he made his fortune. It would be helpful if reporters would go after that question. Maybe the WSJ, who seem to be gleefully exposing some parts of the relationship.
Trump issued an executive order on institutionalizing homeless people. His rate of issuing executive orders seems to be slowing down.
The Supreme Court continues to issue “shadow docket” rulings that give more power to Trump.

As usual, keep it to things that have actually happened, not hypotheticals. What is actually happening is bad enough.
Caring for yourself and loved ones is resistance too. Post your pets. We arrived safely in Oregon and are enjoying a lovely temporary setting with relatives. We have a very good dog, Sage, as a neighbor who would like to meet the cats. The cats are not interested in meeting him. Here he is waiting outside the door.
