Contemporary Canadian Political Art
You people run me ragged, forcing me to travel the world in order to find you fresh content. Well, in order to serve my masters, I was forced to spend last weekend in Montreal. I ended up at the Écomusee du Fier Monde, a neighborhood museum reflecting the working class culture of that part of the city. The museum is cool enough, a march through life in the factories. It’s a converted public bath, built in fact by the city so that these people would have somewhere to bathe since most didn’t have that ability in their homes. So now, the main bath area is an open space and there was an exhibit of contemporary political art from people around the neighborhood. As you can see, it is very impressed with both Poilievre and Trump. Here’s a few examples:
I tried to get pictures with the artist info but it was actually pretty crowded, so not always successful.
