Even some senior people at NBC are apparently appalled by the network’s decision to reward Trump for refusing to debate Biden unless he could potentially infect him by giving him a directly opposing time slot:
NBC has been rocked by an internal feud over its decision to host a town hall with Donald Trump at the same time as ABC’s Thursday event with Joe Biden, a scheduling move that critics contend is a gift to the president after he refused to participate in a debate originally scheduled for Thursday.
The internal conflict extends to the highest levels of NBCUniversal, where MSNBC head Phil Griffin strongly disagreed with NBC News President Noah Oppenheim’s decision to unilaterally move forward with the town hall during that time slot, according to three high-ranking sources at the TV media giant.

Under fire from Biden allies calling for a viewership boycott, former NBC personalities and media critics, NBCUniversal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde acknowledged the external and internal controversy in a written statement.
NBC is more responsible for Trump than any other organization. And while Les Moonves had the famous quote, it was NBC who handed him the SNL guest hosting gig several months after he had announced his candidacy by calling Mexican immigrants “drug dealers, criminals, rapists.” And who can forget NBC sending fellow violent misogynist and intellectual featherweight Matt Lauer out to relentlessly badger Clinton about inane bullshit and then lob softballs at NBC reality star Donald “Grab ‘Em By The Pussy” Trump. Heckuva job, and they can’t quit him baby.
