I like to think of everyone on our masthead as a rock star. But this blog will now feature an actual rock star whose work you’ve read here before: Elizabeth Nelson. She’s the singer/songwriter for The Paranoid Style, which she founded with her husband Tim Bracy (who you may also remember from The Mendoza Line, another band that was as good as their name.) Their new EP Rock & Roll Just Can’t Recall was #15 on this year’s Dean List. (As an aside, glad to see what I think are my two favorite full-length records of last year — Dirty Computer and Things Have Changed — on there.) She’ll be blogging about politics, music, sports (as a D.C. sports fan, she’ll be in a slightly better mood after last year!), all the stuff you’re used to, but hipper. Welcome her aboard!
