By “Life seems great when you have it your way but better when you don’t.”
I had to ask my son what he meant by that when I saw it written on a homework assignment. His answer:
“I can’t explain what I mean by it. It beats me. Words were coming down on the paper faster than I could think them.”
We’ve all been there. And judging by FB status updates from my the many educators in my friend network who are grading papers this week, I’d say that pretty much sums up what’s going on at universities across the country, just as it did three years ago today. Yep.
