SCOTUS guts Voting Rights Act

The history of the United States is in large part a struggle between white supremacists and those opposing them. Today’s SCOTUS decision regarding the application of the Voting Rights Act, which is one of the most important laws passed by the latter group, is surgically designed to aid the former people.
The SCOTUS as currently constituted is a crucial weapon in the battle to retain white supremacy as the (barely) crypto-ideology of our legal and political culture.

It takes a fairly extreme amount of denial to continue to fail to see that Trumpism is at its core a revanchist Confederate project, but much of the power elite is either actually sympathetic to the project, or finds the thought of looking reality in the face too much to bear.
Wrenching the SCOTUS out of the hands of the neo-Confederates is absolutely essential to defeating them.
