Ah, nice of the world’s most accomplished liar Ari Fleischer to show up to reveal what the pushback against Eichenwald’s new book will be. Namely, they’re going to go with the line that assessing an administration’s security policy and priorities and arguing that they had a role in subsequent events is “trutherism,” no different than racists arguing that Barack Obama was born in Africa. Well, if anyone associated with the Bush administration had a conscience this could help them sleep at night, but that doesn’t make the argument any less specious.
