The Thom Tillis Bravery Chronicles

Now that Thom Tillis isn’t running, he is free to stand up to Trump and not vote for all the horrible things. So to show this newfound independence, he voted to destroy NPR and PBS and give back all the money that Trump wanted out of the federal budget.

From the Senate floor, Tillis said, he has assurances from the White House that certain programs will be protected if he votes yes on the bill. “If my confidence is betrayed here, then I won’t vote for another rescissions bill unless we have…line item programming,” Tillis said.

Oh….sure. OK.

Now he showed up Trump by voting to confirm Emil Bove! That’s leaderocity!

Maybe after voting for these things, he can introduce a pointless bill that would restore NPR funding. It’s what Big Brave Boy Josh Hawley would do!
