It came out a couple of days ago that Santa Ono actually signed an agreement to implement Gov. Little Boots’ “vision” for higher ed., as part of the quid pro quo for getting the job.

I wrote back on May 8:

The good news is that the University of Michigan has already fired him, and given him until noon tomorrow to clear out his office. Now I’m just praying that Laura Loomer and Co. decide that this guy is a Manchurian Candidate for Wokeness, so he can be out on the street where he belongs.

. . . . A colleague who has done great work on this issue just emailed me after watching the hearing:

the hearing was incredible. most incredible moment when they pressed him on the vaccine mandate and he said he wasn’t an expert. guy incredulously responded: “you’re an immunologist!” ono: “i’m a mouse doctor.”
