In a ludicrous followup even by the standards of the Trump administration, DOD flaks have responded to the backlash to this particular outrage by noting that everybody at the Department of Defense “loves” Jackie Robinson and the Navajo Code Talkers, who were also removed from the site, but the reasons for honoring Robinson have nothing to do with his race, which is irrelevant (If you think I’m making this up you haven’t been watching this show for very long).
This is just frank white supremacy with the hood off.
