Bari Weiss’s working class whisperer

The emerging Musk-fluffing narrative is that only effete cosmopolitan liberals would seek other options when presented with an incredibly shitty boss:
My dad was a local lineman for 40+ years and absolutely blue collar, and when you work more than 40 hours in a non-managerial blue collar job, you get overtime, not back pats. https://t.co/edOSO3YZBs— Elizabeth Spiers (@espiers) November 18, 2022
The idea that the typical blue collar worker would have no objection to being asked to work double the hours for the same pay while also being treated much worse by their boss is hilariously dumb and condescending. But who I am I to question someone with this kind of hardscrabble background and deep immersion in difficult, poorly compensated work?
And her dad was an instructor at Harvard Medical School a pioneer in the lucrative but legally questionable field of opioid over-prescription. A true friend of the working class! https://t.co/NcGN0AaRcP— David Klion (@DavidKlion) November 19, 2022
