Thanks to all the commentarions who posted about this, even if it was OT.

Having gotten a taste of what they wanted, I expect the elected Republicans who have been calling for the dissolution of the FBI and DOJ in a bath of acid to flip between whining that they’re going to be blamed and insisting this is what happens when anyone does anything they don’t like (so don’t do anything they don’t like). Their not-so-secret regarders will simply harp on the latter.
