We here at LGM cover war and peace. Here’s what you’ll miss if you don’t donate.

In response to the epidemic of gun deaths under the previous Democratic administration, the 118th Congress legalized the private holding of all weapons of war, up to and including nuclear weapons of less than 10 kilotons yield. This sparked a renaissance of the defense industry and stock market.

Even a small nuclear weapon is pricey for someone who isn’t E*** M*** or J*** B****, so the competition was mainly among states and cities for pre-eminence in nuclear weapons. Texas was able to get a dozen or so, but New Mexico declared jurisdiction over the storage at Kirtland Air Base.

Meanwhile, New Mexico continued to provide abortions for women in the surrounding states. A hot pursuit across the state line by bounty hunters (the bounty had been raised to a million dollars) resulted in Texas nuking Tucumcari, and New Mexico nuking Amarillo and the Pantex Plant in a much smarter strategic move in the states-rights nuclear arms race.

Texas blockaded the Free City of Austin, and New York and Massachusetts arranged an airlift of food and weed. That led to further nuclear threats by Texas, but since Congress hadn’t authorized the missiles to go along with the nukes, a standstill was achieved.

Canada and Mexico invaded and took control of Washington. The United Nations put them in charge of the protectorate of the United States and disarmament of the nuclear weapons scattered about the country. Russia provided technical support.
