The Eastman memo describing the systematic attempt by Trump to steal the 2020 election, which was the stepping stone for the brilliant Adam Serwer essay you have hopefully have read by now. It strikes me that this is a rather important story! Maybe not “compliance with email server management best practices” or “what is in John Podesta’s inbox?” important — let’s not go crazy! — but pretty important.

The Post has been better, but still discussion has been limited to opinion/analysis pieces rather than being treated as the blockbuster news story it should be. CNN has done excellent work on this, but the complacency of most of the political press remains a huge problem.
