Greg Kelly has been a big deal in the right wing media ecosystem for a long time, so this isn’t exactly nut-picking, except to the extent that quoting American right wing media is now pretty much nothing but nut-picking 24/7:
A quick biographical check reveals that it’s unlikely Obama and Oswald ever came within 3,500 miles of each other during the very short interlude when they both occupied the same space-time continuum. In fact in those terms there’s a closer connection between Oswald and approximately 98% of the Americans who were alive at the same time.
BTW speaking of weirdness, what’s up with the completely random use of quotation marks on right wing twitter? Is this some sort of homage to Donald Trump, the unquestioned master of this particular “trope?”
