“Why won’t Biden do more press conferences,” the question that answers itself

Some members of the political press have been complaining about Biden failing to do a press conference. In the abstract, this is not an unreasonable complaint. In practice, however, it’s a different story:
Joe Biden began his press conference by announcing his plan for 100 million vaccines in the first 100 days would now expand to 200 million vaccines in the first 100 days.
It’s the biggest issue voters care about.

But don’t worry, they did find time to ask multiple questions about utterly inane horserace bullshit!
Oh for God's sake. Another reporter is pushing him on this and actually asking whether Harris will be his running mate again.

If you want to be treated like the Sacred Guardians of Democratic Accountability, it would help if you asked questions about issues that voters could conceivably care about. And a historic pandemic doesn’t become less important just because you’ve personally become bored with it.
