Outflanking the Dems so hard from the left you wind up far to the right of Joe Manchin! Nice work. This is also your periodic reminder that in contemporary politics any Democratic senator is far better than any Republican alternative.
Anyway, one has to suspect that McConnell was getting some of his intelligence from the reporters who heard Tom Cotton mouth some pro forma platitudes about how ACTUALLY the Democrat Party hates workers and concluded that he was the reincarnation of Eugene Debs.
