Thursday: President Combover announces he plans to attend game 5 of the World Series at Nationals’ Park on Sunday.

Friday: The Nats drop a very large hint that they would really rather he didn’t.

Donald Trump is scheduled to attend World Series Game 5 at Nationals Park on Sunday, but he won’t be tossing out the first pitch — the Nationals gave that honor is to chef José Andrés, who famously earned the ire of the president by removing his restaurant from the Trump D.C. hotel.

Andrés, who provided free meals to federal employees during the last shut down and victims of Hurricane Maria, famously rides DT’s ass like he’s a Hippity-Hop. The idea that the Nats just happened to invite someone who has repeatedly thumbed his nose at the Manbaby-in-Chief to throw out the first pitch is as plausible as the idea that tRump knows he looks like a complete goober in this picture.

For his part, Andrés has the right attitude about game 5. He hopes there won’t be one.

I’m humbled by the invitation, and I realize is a big big big honor but I really hope that by Saturday night all of WASHINGTON will be celebrating that the @Nationals are the 2019 @MLB World Series Champions…

Consider this an open whatever.
