The 20 Film Challenge

I decided to take part in the #20FilmChallenge because I loved the idea of curating a list that is deeply personal to me using only a single image for each film.
The 20 Film Challenge asks you to list movies that had an impact on you. I chose the following movies because they made me laugh or cry or think about the craft of filmmaking. I chose movies that showed me exactly how funny or how scary or aesthetically wrenching a movie could be. How weird a movie could be (and still be accessible). Some of these movies are not my favorites but instead are films that challenged me, in a good way. All of these movies had me pondering them long after I watched them.
