As an aside, my list of grievances with the GOP is very long, and I’d be hard pressed to select a Worst Thing the GOP has ever done. But if I were to try, constantly trying to take away health care from millions of Americans would be high on the list.
To hell with these people. To hell with the people who vote for them.
In other health care news:
- I’ve lost track of the number of groups that have come out and said Sham-Crassidy should be “Excretus Est Ex Altitudine.” It seems like the list gets longer with each version of Obamacare repeal. But I always relax – slightly – when AHIP and Blue Cross/Blue Shield turn away from the Dark Side. They have too much money to be ignored.
- Every Medicaid director has given the bill a thumbs down.
- HHS Secretary Tom Price needs to STFU forever for a number of reasons. Because he was flapping his largest face hole about waste while he was winging his way around the country on chartered jets is as good a reason as any.
