The Gaslighting Opportunists Party & the latest Trump Rumpus

I’ll say at the outset that Trump’s comments about being able to do anything to women failed to twitch the needle on my shock-o-meter. Based solely on personal experiences that began when I was the ripe old age of 11, I could have reached the conclusion that men who think they have a note from God stating they’re entitled to stick their penises in any girl/woman who catches their eye and behave accordingly are 10 a penny. However, talking to other girls and women and reading and various volunteer activities helped me realize that I was wrong and the going rate is more like 25 a penny.

At any rate, not being shocked meant I could get on with arranging my thoughts on the Republican’s latest reaction to Trump’s latest bout of saying the quiet parts out loud:

1. The chine of misogynists that is the Republican Party needs to take their overwrought declarations that Women should never be treated that way and find a nice roaring fire to die in.

2. Anyone who isn’t a Republican but thinks the GOP is being sincere this time should hop in beside them.

3. I bet if someone dropped a glob of crushed garlic on Paul Ryan, he’d turn into 500 bats and fly away, shrieking.

(As an aside to those who think behavior like Trump’s is based on socioeconomic status and/or upbringing – up the fuck shut, s’il te plait. You sound utterly moronic.)
