Blug

I’ll be moving in a few days, so my posting will likely be scant for the next week or so. In the meantime, I’d like to share some pictures of my son, who is fascinated with bugs. He loves to watch them. We watched them together for an hour today. It was actually rather lovely.

The little guy just turned two. There aren’t too many things that hold his attention for more than five minutes, so this new bug obsession is intriguing. I was wondering if any of you knew of any age-appropriate bug games/activities/videos/apps that he might dig.

And, what the hell, let’s have some fun with this post…I recently rewatched “Pan’s Labyrinth,” a film I once thought was overrated. (The first time I saw it, I found the transitions from the fairy tale to the fascist Spain too jarring, and, frankly, I wanted the whole thing to be fairy tale.) I ended up sobbing through much of it on the second viewing and completely reevaluating the film. Have you had second thoughts about a movie after giving it another watch?
