Another day, another episode of completely naked racism from the president of the United States:

I would say Trump has turned up the Racism Dial to 11 but he probably just broke the thing off completely. Didn't think this man could still shock me.

The entire video is worse than any isolated quote you can excerpt from it. It’s all that bad.

I know Trump’s racism is Not News but it’s still important not to be jaded about this:

i'd go even further and say there is a reason even nixon kept this kind of stuff to himself. you would have to go back quite a bit to find a point at which is acceptable for a president to say anything like this *in public*, to say nothing of in the oval office.

Trump frequently using rhetoric not an iota different than David Duke or George Wallace has always been one of the democratic values-shattering aspects of his presidency that matters, and it still does.
