Look, it’s very simple: electoral politics is strategic. I don’t like Bob Casey either, and I wouldn’t have voted for him in the primary. But in November, all that matters is whether he’s better than the opposition. Which, since his opposition is Rick Santorum, is an easy decision (particularly since every seat in the Senate really matters no matter how much of a wet an individual Senator is.) End of story.
