It shows how alienated I am from Law & Order that when I flipped over tonight that I had no idea that Michael Imperioli was now on the show. So I watched, and it was OK. I still believe that the “ripped from the headlines” compulsion is central to the calamitous decline of the show, which generally now ends up with counsel arguing sub-Aaron Sorkin position papers in front of an impartial, bored audience. But I have to admit that tonight’s attack on Bernie Kerik was quite entertaining. (The publisher even looked a bit like Regan,)
