By Kevin Drum does a good wrap up of the nonsense associated with Kerry’s claims that he spent time in Cambodia during the Vietnam War. He establishes that Kerry has maintained a straight story since at least 1979, and that the story is on it’s face plausible.
This only serve to further enrage the Swift Boat boys. That Kerry would admit that the U.S. launched incursions into Cambodia in 1968 is nothing less that traitorous. That’s fine; they’re crazy. I have less tolerance for guys like Glenn Reynolds, who must know that the story is plausible and who still insists on referring to Kerry as an unbalanced liar.
