Tucker Carlson and the Cursed Footnote
By Sorry Harry Potter fans–this is not an exciting new spin-off. No, this is a footnote from the new, excellent (more on that later) Why We’re Polarized by Ezra Klein.
I call it the “cursed footnote,” because, it is the worst footnote I’ve ever read. In fact, it’s so bad it’s almost magic. It’s an excerpt from Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller and it must be seen to be believed.
II. Examples include, “This Sexy Model Is Blowing Up the Internet [SLIDESHOW],” “This UFC Octagon Girl’s Instagram Account Is Sizzling Hot [SLIDESHOW],” and—I kid you not—“13 Syrian Refugees We’d Take Immediately [PHOTOS],” which reads, “While a growing list of governors are claiming they won’t allow Syrian refugees to enter their states, we think these women might make them change their minds. They are Syria-sly hot.”
