Yet More Newt-Related Misogyny

It’s rather disgusting but not really surprising that Newt’s former staffers are lashing out at his wife — the reflexive misogyny is to be expected, and I guess you have to tell yourself some kind of story about why you believed what any idiot could see was a vanity campaign was actually serious.   But what’s Isikoff’s excuse for running with “the wife did it” as if it was actually reasonable?   Newt’s ability to convince journalists that he’s some towering intellectual and political giant is beyond pathetic at this late date.
