The problem with the Tigers is that they strikeout too much. They need to start manufacturing runs. Look at tonight.
Tonight they lost 11-3. That’s a lot of runs to manufacture.
Blathering nonsensically about manufacturing runs is the baseball equivalent of advocating random wars in political punditry. It’s crazy and it makes no sense, but for some reason people think that you’re “serious”. I guess it’s just too obvious to say that good pitching, lots of baserunners, and some guys who can hit the ball a long way help you win games.
