Scenes from a metaphorical execution

The disastrous US Attorney’s office in New Jersey made an appearance in court today, and the results were…amazing:
Sometimes judges like to start off nice, lull you into complacency, but ummmm not this time!

The judge urged the prosecutors to accept an adjournment. The prosecutors refused, on the grounds that this was a “victim case.” The first problem here, Judge Quraishi noted, is that pretty much every criminal prosecution is a “victim case.” The bigger problem is that…they made an incredibly lenient plea deal in a child pornography case because they had not finished reviewing the evidence before making the deal!
Here we see the court setting a trap….

The whole thing is worth reading, if you’re really into cringe comedy.
