Meet Your 2028 Republican Presidential Nominee

Greg Bovino is talking about running for the Republican nomination in 28 on a platform of mass deportation and I see little reason why he can’t win or at least be a serious candidate. Republican primary voters are going to want the craziest person in the room. Vance and Rubio can’t pull that off. Remember that even before Trump, there were the boomlets for Herman Cain and Ben Carson and Michelle Bachmann, etc. Bovino could have legs with these lunatics. Herr Trump might be able to tell voters who to vote for, but it’s less clear to me that they will really listen to him on that. And that would also require him making a choice, which he won’t want to do because he hates that. It’s going to be something to watch.
And remember, people said there was no way Trump could win the nomination and then the general election either.
