It’s that time of the year

It is probably not a secret that we have been doing this for 22 years because we love it. But it’s also not a secret that it’s a lot of work — a lot of time writing and even more time reading. And there’s also the costs involved not only in obvious stuff like Erik’s grave visits, but subscription prices in an increasingly fragmented media landscape, the cost of running this place with a minimum of outages, etc. And all of this occurs in the context of online advertising revenue becoming increasingly scarce.
