There’s no sophisticated thirty-dimensional chess going on here, just an impulsive crackpot with.a belligerent zero-sum view of the world and no respect for any human life but his own. MADMAN THEORY has always been about ex post justifications for people like this, it’s not any kind of real strategic framework. And this is before we get to the fact that today’s episode of Trump Sporadically Chickens Out is hardly some kind of stable equilibrium.
