Nothing illustrates the Peace President’s utter indifference to human lives that are not his own than when he senses some political obligation to try to pretend to care:

The way he says “sadly. there will likely be more” is chilling — just a totally vacant man with life of death powers. This would be hard to take even leaving said the fact that nobody can explain exactly what this “righteous mission” is, least of all the person who ordered it.
