I don’t enjoy it when the forced pregnancy perverts visit the city, but they come during one of the worst times of the year and the thought of fetus fetishists freezing warms my heart. And once they’re gone, they’re gone for the year.

But this year their presence is lingering.

“DC Health was notified of multiple confirmed cases of measles whose carriers visited multiple locations in the District while contagious,” the agency said in a press release on Sunday. “DC Health is informing people who were at these locations that they may have been exposed.”

Potential exposure sites from Jan. 21 to Feb. 2 include major transit such as Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Union Station, an Amtrak Northeast Regional train and D.C.’s subway system, according to DC Health. The agency says infected individuals also visited the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and Catholic University.

I don’t think I need to explain how many people move through places like National Airport, the largest train station in the region, a subway system that serves DC, parts of Maryland and Virginia and a massive church.

People who claim to care about the children intentionally wandering around with a disease that can make children very sick or dead is a perfect encrapsulation of the “My feelings don’t care about facts” attitude that is essential to a white supremacist movement.

Facts, and the steps required to arrive at facts are a direct contradiction of a system that relies on making shit up and calling it the truth. Facts won’t support claims that a microscopic blob of cells is the same as a baby, or childhood vaccines cause autism, or that possessing physical characteristics associated with Europeans makes you superior to people who don’t have those characteristics, or members of a religious minority secretly control the entire world, or transgender women are all sex predators … the list isn’t endless, but it can seem that way.

A person who uses logic and reason and pursues facts can’t arrive at any of those conclusions. So the white supremacist says that logic and reason must go.

The process of arriving at facts is also a threat to their egos. You can say being white, cishet and Christian makes you the best, but two of those things are by chance, and experts spoil the illusion of chance-based superiority by having uncommon knowledge. When confronted with experts, the white supremacist has two choices:

  1. Stop being an asshole.
  2. Attack the experts.

They’re all rushing for Door #2.
