There’s something happening here:

The Minnesota Timberwolves game scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Target Center was postponed until Sunday, the NBA announced. The decision was made hours before tip off.

The news came in the wake of a man being shot to death by federal immigration officers Saturday morning just a couple miles away from the Wolves’ home arena.

“The decision was made to prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community,” the league said in a statement.

Tim Walz is another politician to denounce today’s shooting in clear terms:

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said he’s seen video of the shooting “from several angles, and it’s sickening.”

“Minnesota’s justice system will have the last word on this,” Walz said, adding that the federal government can’t be trusted with investigating the shooting.

“Donald Trump, I call on you once again. Remove this force from Minnesota. They are sowing chaos and violence,” Walz said.

Every detail that emerges about the shooting makes it worse:

Alex Pretti was a nurse who tried to help a woman attacked by a federal officer. They killed him for it.

As Paul alluded to earlier, reading an individual right to bear arms into the Second Amendment — let alone one as expansive as Bruen — is completely incompatible with “possession of a firearm ipso facto makes a police killing justified,” but it’s out of such contradictions that authoritarianism is made.

…I flipped over to MS-NOW to see what coverage was like, and saw noted hard-left bomb thrower Seth Moulton call Stephen Miller a “domestic terrorist.”
