Whether it is fake concern about autism, fake concern about personal freedom or fake concern about science, people who are attempting to disrupt childhood immunizations think sick, chronically ill and dead kids are a small price to pay to protect their egos from the horror of admitting they’re wrong.

Some of the perverts make an effort to hide their intentions. Kirk Milhoan, M.D., a pediatric cardiologist who is the new chair of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices does not.

“What we’re going to have is a real-world experience of when unvaccinated people get measles,” he said. “What is the new incidence of hospitalization? What’s the incidence of death?”

I haven’t watched the podcast so I don’t know if he licked his lips while he spoke. It is hard to imagine where this eagerness to see children get so sick they need to be hospitalized or die ends. For example, it appears that leaving a certain number of cardiac patients untreated OK, if you do it for science.

At the same time, Milhoan cast doubt on the scientific rigor of current public health decision-making. “I don’t like established science,” he said, adding “science is what I observe.”

This is the bugfuck bullshit of a person who should not be allowed to touch a baby doll, much less a real baby. A treating practitioner’s career is based on established science. A common complaint from providers is the difficulty of keeping up with the latest information, treatments and techniques.

He’s also a proponent of a shuck and jive favored by anti-medicine types.

“I think also, as you look at polio, we need to not be afraid to consider that we are in a different time now than we were then. Our sanitation is different, our risk of disease is different, and so those all play into the evaluation of whether this is worthwhile of taking a risk for a vaccine or not,” Milhoan said.

Correct. These people never list immunizations as a thing that made a difference. But that is like saying the incidence of surgery-related infections has dropped while ignoring or casting doubt on surgical antiseptic protocols.

“When … we talk about the risk of, let’s say, measles, many of those risks of not getting measles without having a vaccine was in the 1960s. We take care of children much differently now,” he added.

Again, a key difference is we vaccinate them. But these sadists aren’t just lobbying for more sick and dead children. They’re pushing for more strain on our wobbly health system. And they never want to talk about who is going to pay for all the extra care required for kids who do get sick. What the fuck do they care? It’s not their ego at risk. Or their money.
