Tom Cotton succinctly explains MAGA foreign policy

Alas, the anti-anti-Trump “left” will most assuredly get fooled again:
Freudian slip from Tom Cotton: "I think President Bush has every power under the Constitution to strike boats in international waters"

Cotton had plenty more elaboration about Donald the Dove’s military policy, whose wholly arbitrary brutality makes him very happy:
WELKER: Isn't it possible that even the act of taking off a t shirt could've been part of an attempt to get attention for help? TOM COTTON: Or it could've been an attempt to signal to another cartel boat to come pick them up and pick up the cargo

WELKER: Is there any hard evidence showing this particular boat was headed to the US? TOM COTTON: That didn't come up in my briefing WELKER: Are you comfortable having the US target a boat that you're not sure is heading to the US? COTTON: I'm not just comfortable with it — I want to continue it

WELKER: You're talking about Trump protecting Arkansas from drugs, yet he pardoned the former president of Honduras who trafficked more than 500 tons of cocaine into the US. How does that make us safer? COTTON: I haven't spoken to POTUS about that pardon. I have to know more about the circumstances

James Bennet’s critics were right then and they’re even more obviously right now.
