This is utterly deranged, and totally unsurprising. And that dichotomy is the essence of where we are now.

Fifty years from now, it will be difficult to convey to young people, in whatever form this country or its successor exists at that point, that the president of the United States was a frank sociopath.

Malignant narcissism enhanced by creeping dementia. A few years ago he would have thought this, but would have been able to control himself from saying it out loud.
