The VERY FIRST THING Donald Trump did when he started getting serious about becoming president in order to (a) Steal All the Money in the World and (b) Wreak Revenge on his countless enemies, was to ceaselessly promote a batshit insane and super racist conspiracy theory about the sitting president of the United States.
This, BY ITSELF, should have completely disqualified him from consideration as a candidate for literally anything that would require public support. And, in the Before Time, it would have! I think it’s important to remember this: that Trump has from the very beginning always been someone who no halfway decent person would consider voting for, for anything, let alone president of the United States.
