Newsom’s — or “Newsom’s,” I assume these things are ghostwritten in proper Hollywood style — tweet is intended in part as a parody, but it’s also a quite literal description of the actual situation.
Trump’s mental (and emotional) issues are very bad, and it couldn’t be clearer that our legal and political systems and institutions are completely incapable of dealing with this reality.
. . . My view is that Trump’s mental state is an incoherent bundle of frank delusion, reflexive bullshit, and the occasional conscious lie. And the key point is that it’s all getting worse all the time.
