Cool Public History Projects Can Still Happen

Things are terrible and I’ve been posting some about the national censorship program and all this. So today, let’s discuss something pretty cool–this is a project about the toxic heritage of Indianapolis. It brings together scholars and community members to explore environmental injustice, why it is there, and who has to live with it today. Pages on it include “A social and environmental history of dry cleaning” and “Climates of Inequality.” Of course this was probably done in part with federal grants that no longer exist. But let’s at least embrace the stories we can still tell.
