The original LGM triumvirate shared a Mariners season ticket package for several years, including 2001. Our tickets were in the right field stands. Which meant three years of tourists running up and down the aisles to get a picture of someone who was a very special player from Day 1. It was awesome. My man killed at his speech today:
Congrats to Sabathia (who was also great), Billy Wagner, and Dave Parker. And especially Dick Allen, who really should have been inducted while he could still personally appreciate it but better late than etc.
