Rethink, Revisit, Reaffirm

In honor of our 21^st anniversary of the blog (we will begin celebrations this Friday) I’d like to invite anyone to ask us to respond to or rethink or revisit some post from our past, the more distant past the better.  To be clear I don’t want to use this as an excuse to refight all the battles of 2024 or to scourge any of the front pagers, but rather to contemplate with the advantage of hindsight whether some observation from 3 or 5 or 10 or 15 years ago was a Hit, a Miss, a Near Miss, or just completely in Left Field. The choice and manner of response obviously lays with the author of the post.  For my part I intend to revisit this post from October 2008, on Bill Kristol’s position within the GOP firmament. As it happens ensuing events have rather modified the conclusions therein! But that’s hardly exhaustive; if there’s a battleship or a deposed monarch that people would like to hear something more about I’m happy to oblige.
