Democratic Cluelessness

I’m trying to put my head in the mind of Elissa Slotkin on January 6 and am failing:
“It’s the same thing we teach second graders when they play tee ball: You respect the winner and you shake hands,” Slotkin told The Independent. Like Gallego, Slotkin won her race in a state that Trump won.
Look, obviously the Democrats should have certified the election. Donald Trump won. I know there are a few weird little circles in Democrat Social Media Land who wanted to object to it, but that’s just dumb. But the idea that the issue Republicans have is not understanding civics and that we, the good liberals, are going to teach it to them and their voters…..Well, it’s hard for me to sum up how poorly Democratic leadership understands what is happening to this country more effectively than this one quote.
