Charles Person, RIP

As we lose our civil rights leaders, we need to note them. Charles Person was not the most famous of them because he made decisions to live a pretty normal life after his initial activism with the Freedom Riders. That’s exactly what activism should allow you to do–give yourself the room to live the kind of life anyone else does. He was the youngest of all the Freedom Riders and was involved in the commemoration of those incredible people in that incredible moment. RIP.
