Jenna Ellis has become the third tRump attorney tRump will claim was never his attorney.
In a tearful apology in court, Ellis spoke of her personal “failures” and expressed “deep remorse” while disavowing her involvement in Trump’s legal efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
“As an attorney who is also a Christian, I take my responsibilities as a lawyer very seriously and I endeavor to be a person of sound moral and ethical character in all of my dealings,” Ellis said.
But after the 2020 election, “I failed to do my due diligence,” she said.
I did warn you. Honestly, the judge should have upped her punishment for bad acting unbecoming B-movie extra.
The only redeeming quality Ellis displays is her willingness to shiv many of her fellow conspirators.
“I relied on others, including lawyers with many more years of experience than I, to provide me with true and reliable information … what I did not do, but should have done, your honor, was to make sure that the facts the other lawyers alleged to be true were, in fact, true,” Ellis said.
Still nauseating though.
One of Dumpster’s current attorneys leaped on the fact that Ellis didn’t specifically name his client. Apparently he us unaware of the whole trial thing that has to happen. Maybe he doesn’t plan to be around for that part.
Speaking of attorneys who dive for the Dumpster, this attorney rated them. They note that the best of the lot do not spend their time on the TV talk circuit or otherwise clowning around town. But most of them do.
